Just a little idea I had to show Mack being different from other Martians. Here he's shown as Lieutenant Commander of the 1st Martian Arctic Highlanders, during training on Mars' polar ice field. Perhaps the choice of combining "arctic" and "highlander" was a poor one, but I think it makes 'em tougher. Plus, who hasn't wanted to see a Martian in that kind of hat, huh?
The rifle does have a scope on it. It's hard to make out, but it twists and turns to go into the gun and come out above the barrel. It has a more Shotgun like grip because energy weapons have less kickback. Also, the bumpy thing near his fingers on the gun is the pump-action, but firther to the left is the fluff from his jacket. They look the same, I know.
