[COMM] Mah Friend Wolfeh
D'awrr look at the cute wolfies *Giggles*
This is a full commission for
nimaid, a very good friend of mine and a very nice wolfy. His gallery looks so empty, go give him comments, go, go! XD
So.. this is what he wanted, a cute picture of his fursona Nimaid with his very own wolfie plushie. I like the dark atmosphere, I tried giving it enough light that it looked like a nocturnal scene without it weighting heavily on the psychological side of things.
PS.: FUZZY BLANKET!! =D

Awrr thank you. I use Photoshop (right now, CS6) with a tablet (Wacoms, first was a Grapphire, now an Intuos 4).
I can't tell you honestly how long it takes because.. I'm weird like that - I got used to working on parallel pictures, so I don't ever focus on a single picture start to finish, I just jump from picture to picture. I suppose if I DID focus properly and worked on one start to finish it'd take me about 4-6 hours, from sketch to shading.

To be honest with you, my favourite drawing tool was the old Microsoft Paint XD
Whichever program you pick, it will have it's strengths. Open Canvas is great for sketching/lineart, Photoshop is great for painting, and so on.
But to answer you, nope, I do not use most of the tools apart from all the brush options.

No need to appologize, I don't mind it at all ^^
I never use to because of our internet and the fact I am a very erratic artist. I might do a sketch session with some friends tonight and they might stream it, not sure. If we do I'll post a journal about it. Should happen in 3-5 hours from now ^^
