with my fursona it was like something that gradually happened, like when she was born it was similar to a normal tail but it had some areas of stiffness near the tip then as she got older it like developed into a tail mouth :P ill probs end up making a small like comic describing it cause everyone asks me about tail mouths and how they work :P
