Impressive fingerage. :) Despite the title, it doesn't feel depressing at all- I happen to like Beethoven, but I can honestly say I haven't even had the chance to listen to all his works, so a treat to my ears, here. :)

Yes... I didn't like it when I first started learning it... but it grew on me with each variation. Quite an amazing piece.

I never liked how most people insist on emotion in music, like it's dogmatic or something. There's more than 1 way to take music, I take it in an intellectual way, not emotional.

That said, I love this piece you did. It's damn good!

Conveying emotion from performer to audience is the strongest way to speak more than just notes, but I think there's alot to be said for understanding music intellectually, as well.

My description for this piece though was not about the emotion of the piece... It was my little way of talking about some very powerful emotions that I've been going through recently... and I feel they came out in this recording, regardless of whether or not I tried to make that happen.

A beautiful composition, beautifully rendered. You manage to really make the score come alive (if that's appropriate for a funderal march ;) ) and convey a great emotion through it. Wonderful dynamics!

I appreciate the compliment, it means a whole lot coming from other artists like myself brave enough to delve into acoustic recording.

Very meditative, again, wonderful recording quality. How do you get a recording of such length to dl to FA, I have two from the Brahms sonata in f minor I'd love to upload but they are about 10 minutes long, and just too big...

I actually use a wav-to-mp3 converter to get the files small enough. Problem is it really hurts the recording quality. Which Brahms sonata did you play?

Sorry about the extra long time interval, I played the #3, F minor. I should re-record it in a different format or something so I can post it. When I convert the first movement it still lays just outside the limits.

Beautifully played! This is one of the best interpretations of the piece I've heard~ The staccatos are well defined, but don't break the continuity of the music~ and the tone you get from your instrument is wonderfully soft, quite lovely.
And the slight inflections in your playing are great, subtle changes in the dynamics and phrasing throughout (I mean the ones that aren't on the printed score) really bring out the piece so much! Really wonderful to listen to~
