The bald eagle looking straight at it, instead to the side. Makes you wonder how such a amazing animal as this can be killed by people either by accident or on purpose.

They used to consider this bird a pest here. Then there was the bit with DDT and now lead bullets and fishing weights. It's actually a felony to kill a bald eagle here.

I've seen a juvie or two around. They are starting to repopulate their former range.
