This picture is quite bad quality, because it's actually a screenshot from a video I recorded during the fursuit parade (I never did get a proper picture of this guy). Because of the bad quality, I will likely move this to scraps in the near future. But, I still felt it deserves being posted simply because of the backstory.
It was a tedious nine-hour drive from Omaha to Denver on Wednesday, which can be exhausting for someone not used to such long drives. That night, I only got one hour of sleep, so all of Thursday I was a zombie...quite fitting for the theme of RMFC 2012. Thursday afternoon,
ryuuie,
raccilon and I went through the pre-reg line to get our badges and gift bags. Despite having taken a nap earlier in the day, I was still extremely exhausted from the overall lack of sleep, and thus wasn't quite all there mentally as a result. After getting our badges and stuff, we decided to go back to the room.
While walking through the hotel lobby to go to our room, I noticed someone in an awesome green fursuit. He was all the way across the lobby, too far away for my tired eyes to identify the species. Wanting to draw Ryuuie's attention to the guy, this was the best my half-asleep brain could come up with:
"Look, it's a green!"
After a few seconds of confusion by my remark, Ryuuie felt it best to inform me that "green" isn't a noun. I suddenly dissolved into a fit of giggles and laughter, and could speak no more, despite his repeated insistence that I finish my sentence. XD
I regret never learning this guys name the whole time I was there, because it truly is a cute suit, and green indeed is one of my favorite colors. I know now that it is
divitus, but every time I saw him at the con, I would lovingly refer to him simply as "The Green". XD

It's fun to refer the suiters we've never met before as nicknames. I remember at the same con I called this tiger suiter "Tiger man" just because we've never properly introduced one another. What's awesome though is that we make the nicknames so obvious that they know when to look back XD
Another nickname I enjoy is the one I gave
draces. Until I learned his name (And even after), I would refer to him simply as "Glowy Kitty" because his fursuit glows. XD
