An order for Etsy!

I get a lot of questions about how long these things take, or how long specific steps take. Just to give you an estimate, I started crocheting the base for this maybe around 6-7pm or so last night, and had all the parts made and sewn together a little after midnight (I took a break for dinner, though). Then I went straight to the fluffing and just finished up around 6am (including another break for snacks - french fries!).

Also, his ears are supposed to be uneven. The right ear in his reference photos is a bit lopped off. Poor Monty, Bert can sympathize!

I think one of my favorite parts about this one actually is the nose. He has a speckling of dark pink down the center. It's not super visible in the photos, but I blended the edges with the outer black sides and I think it turned out quite nice. :)
