This is how things seem to me a lot of the time... that people are having fun and while I have been invited over, I never can be part of the crowd... at least while under this cloud.

Depression alters perception...

Of course, it does not help that most of the groups and crowds I have been invited to partake in love to get together to drink and smoke and light up on other substances... and being the sensitive type, I don't feel comfortable around that stuff.. at all, especially with the other substances.

Often, if/when I show up at events with more than a handful of people, I end up trying to be helpful, cleaning up, doing the cooking, tending a campfire, or just sitting in the corner drawing... Strangely enough, I do better at conventions than I do local fur meets because there are not really any one walking around half drunk while smoking through the convention halls... maybe in private rooms or the bar or outside, but not in the actual convention itself.

I like being dull... my idea of a good time often involves food, a few cold cold drinks (often of the soda verity) and maybe a few games or movies or drawing... or just hanging.. but then, as I said, I am rather dull at times. Most of the time I tend to keep to myself, so maybe its just I don't know how to socially interact.
