Sonic the Hedgehog was the first game I ever played. While I fell out of the fandom after Sonic 3, only barely showing interest in SA, my brother acquired a copy of SA2 in 2001. I played and played it, and was disappointed when it was bugged so I couldn't finish the last story. I made sure to get a better copy and was able to finish. Ever since then, I've followed the games(main ones, anyway) without delay.

I don't care about the folks who say Sonic's dead. I don't care about the folks who only care about the franchise because friend xyz is in it. I don't care about those who "grew up" out of Sonic and pressure me to do so, I'm not a coward like them. I don't care about Sally not being in the games, or how Fleetway Sonic has a more attractive butt than Archie Sonic, or anything of the sort.

He will always be the big blue blur to me, and no game reviewer or 30-year old jerk(or younger, seriously, the way you guys rant about the "good ole days" makes me think you're bloody seniors) is going to change that opinion.
