Another painting I did recently, trying out a new technique and trying to master painting in general. I really, really like this new style and approach I've been using in these last two pieces.

This image is, again, from my newest surreal fantasy story about a girl named "Yuul" who lives in a literally shattered and broken world where the sun, moons and stars have all disappeared and been replaced by a great, golden light emitting ball in the sky. The character here is in fact Yuul, overlooking her home far down below, as well as the rest of her fragmented, broken island world - Callunia.

I fell in love with this story when I started writing it for my gf almost a year ago and have wanted to get back to it for a long time. I finally sucked it up enough to start painting and try to create more work/story around this universe.
