Really? I went to a birthday party at this hotel at least ten years ago, and the pool was the same as it is now.

I think that is to keep the heat from the indoor section inside. During the colder months, the indoor area is heated. :3

last year I slept on a air mattress on a very cold tiled floor at Megaplex that had bugs and it was worth it

Where in the Worldgate did you stay? The only place in every room I've been in that was tiled was the bathroom, and we've never had insect issues... I'm glad it was still worth it for you, though! Megaplex is my home away from home. ^^
