Ice Cream: A delicious treat shared by many, and adored by all. But it should never be considered filling under any means. Leo and Darrien did not know this, which may be part of why the events that followed took place.


It was a humid afternoon during the Summer time, with the heat scorching and people all around looking for ways to cool off. Leo, along with his friend Darrien, were a wolf and a fox panting under the dreadful conditions. Walking along in a park, they stopped by a vendor selling various flavors of ice cream. Naturally they each bought themselves a cone, the blue wolf a strawberry swirl and his red-headed pal a lime green twist. After paying their fees, they went along the trail as they did before. Slurping and licking their treats along the path, they come across a nice little shaded area in the brush. The pair take a seat in the soft grass, side by side eating away at their cones. The blue wolf goes about with a subtle approach, while the dark grey vulpine messily lapped at the highlighted dessert. Soon after, the tall canine sucks down the final drops of his food; his belly rumbles with a hushed tone.


With a muted look upon his face, he quickly gazed over to his friend. He was stickied up from the treat and happily licking off the remains from his face. The look of complete and utter bliss gave the large wolf a brilliant and cunning idea. He knew that the fox trusted him enough, so he figured that he could get away with anything. Leo takes note of his friend’s, then taps his friend on the shoulder. The wolf leaned over slightly, giving the fox a signal that he’d be getting help with his messed up muzzle. Lick after lick, the dripping remnants of the delicious swirl vanished from the vulpine’s muzzle. And yet, his friend kept licking. Maybe a bit too much for comfort.
