Late 60's Volkswagen Beetle in fantastic condition. I always wanted to drive one of these cars just for the fun of it. Perhaps I'll get a chance at some point. ;) Now where did I put that tie dye shirt?

Ironically, the Nazis actually stunted production of the Beetle as it was only made for military use. After their rein ended, it was made for the public and in much larger numbers.
I wonder how much it would cost to find a good beetle from the early 2000's in Mexico and bring it up to the states? ;) They produced the type 1 beetle till 2003. :)

I think that's the first one I've seen with that color scheme. And yeah, they were something I saw a lot when I was younger, but never had the chance to own. So I've always had a soft spot for one, and the desire to drive one. Just to see what it was like, and to get a feel of something from a bygone era.
I like old things, they're my way of traveling through time. :)

It works so well too! lol. I hear ya. I have always wanted to drive one knowing somewhere someone is going "Punch Buggy!" as I drive by XD (I still play it with my boyfriend lol)
Oh yes always a nice way to feel connected with lives past. I always felt a deep connection with older things. I love the way they were made with care. They have someones sweat and blood in them and last forever compared to many things now a days. I am a person who loves working with their hands and having that good feeling that comes with it knowing I made something which is one reason why my guy and I want a small hobby farm soon :) hard work but a labor of love.
