Twilight attempting to demonstrate how hard life is for her..getting hay out of the hayrack. She yanked pulled and pretended to give up without eating anything, slumping on her front paws for a moment and then going to her empty feeder and shaking it. She's under the impression that if she behaves dramatically enough I will give her more pellets. If you ignore that cue sometimes she'll throw her dish at the door XD

Normally I would, but they've been causing soft, copious cecotropes and I'm assured that unlimited hay + fresh veggie +limited pellets is plenty even for a pregnant bun. We have been increasing the number but apparently not enough!

Twilight is a purebred American Blue doe that we are using in part of our heritage rabbit program. We raise rabbits primarily as humane meat for ourselves but also aiming to breed towards the standards to keep this rare breed going, and also produce good health and temperament.
