Well, I am.  Aticston is running a Tekkit server but so far everyone I've invited on has been a tourist.

Technic is too good right now, the addition of steves carts and thaumcraft is soo much fun! Thaumcraft is a bit too potential world destroying though. And Mystcraft is pure win, plus thermal expansion makes so many tasks like cobble generation for recyclers so much more efficient without being broken. I'm looking forward to when the tekkit guys port Mystcraft, steves carts, and thermal expansion to full tekkit, it will help keep server lag down too (hopefully)

If tekkit had that mod that made you keep your inventory on death it would be worlds better

Well, I died when I hit the ground. I guess I got close enough to it on my way down that it exploded anyway. I dunno.

I was actually wearing a full set of nano armor! Not QUITE full damage reduction, and it was really stupidly high up.

I use the technic pack for Hack/Mine and vanilla, but I personally can't stand Tekkit.

What's Hack/Mine like? I've never tried it.

Rpg Mod for MC, adds three clases, Mage, warrior and Archer, leveling gives you skill points for Str, Dex, Int, Wis, and fortitude. Map generates dungeons and towers to fight through for loot, and bioms are leveled, the further away from spawn, the harder monsters get.

/me laughs! dude, you shoulda added rubber boots, you nitwit! it adds to your fall damage resistance. and...then there's the swiftwolf's rending gale.
