So! When Confuzzled announced their theme for 2013 (medieval), I felt all inspired to create a suitable badge despite the fact that I'm not going. After talking to  swandog yesterday, I sat down and did some doodles for a badge. It took me a few sketches to get the idea right, but I quite like how this turned out. I'm going to be opening slots for these badges but I've not yet decided on a price. This badge is just over twice the size of my normal badges so yeah, it's quite big, but I couldn't get the detail in if I made it any smaller.

To explain the shield, the top section is a saltire because well, I'm from Scotland. The left side is a little bee to represent my other character, Fennel the honeybee, and the right side is a crochet hook and cone of yarn because I love crocheting! If I get any takers for these badges, I'll certainly customise the shields to whatever that persons interests are.

Ah, this took me all afternoon to do! Time for a break!
