oh neat, i've always been fond of going to different places and seeing how the climate/location/cultural influences affected architecture. if you can believe it, i had a prof try to tell me japan had no architectural influence from china. i did not like her much as a prof so i essentially prepared a paper on how wrong she was and shoved it at her the next day.

and she tried to dock me points because i used florishing language in my opener. i wrote something like 'and by god, the men of the meiji era would something something' and she circled by god, wrote "WHOSE GOD" and docked me ten points.

oh I had a black, foreign, female, liberal professor for my public policy (politics) and apparently I am a racist bigot because I thought her stance on the issues we discussed were hypocritical and biased.
