The music began as the mare trotted into the arena. She was almost unseen in the darkness before a soft light illuminated her. Her spirit rose with the music, galloping and bucking gracefully. Mid performance, she tossed her head high and let out a piercing whinny, her voice ringing over the audience as she made her declaration in the ring. World, here I am.
