You know, right after I post the question, I took a look again and could see it in his face.

Yes but Abdul spends fair bit of time at the Pillow visiting his brother Hasim. It is a tribute to his character that his wife Evenara, and everyone else, doesn't think any thing is going on down there. While it is true that several of the ladies both at Violet Pillow and at the Palace Harem fantasize about getting horizontally superimposed with him, none of them have actually tried to seduce him. There seems to be this aura about him that tells people that you can look but if try to claim him you'll destroy the thing you find so charming about him.
His love for Evenara and his loyalty and devotion to Sultan without question, and he has literally given his life one occassion to protect that which he holds dear.

Intersting, though not entirely unexpected. Although, I wouldn't be suprised if the ladies (especially the taller ones) snuck a hug or two from time to time. ;)

Heh, nice choice, though I might have gone with a vixen. Foxes in the Caucasus are supposed to have a reputation as magical animals -- the Russian Caucasus version of 'Puss in Boots' makes the cat a fox.

Well maybe if I consciously creating the character but she sprung up out of one of my dreams in Andur and as general rule I'll give my subconscious fairly free rein to do what it wants.

It does seem to work rather well. I love what you've shown of Andur thus far.
