This one's not for sale XP but the GI here is normally around 1000USD give or take about a hundred. Although in this pic there are about 250 dollars worth of parts on it, and at present (in the last pic I posted) it's more like 400. If you go for the fancier PTRs they range all the way up to around 2800USD plus cost of optics for the cool freefloated heavy barrel adjustable stock sniper things.

Being Australian, and having such tight gun laws, the very idea of owning an automatic firearm's so alien to us.

I guess being an american I look at it as just a rifle. And I thought they had autoloaders in Australia, maybe not. Anyway not sure if you meant full or semi automatic, but this one is semi because machine guns are ridiculously expensive in the US and owning one just invites the ATF to run up in your house whenever they want to check your weapons, not worth the hassle. But yeah, it's my big heavy 30 cal.
