
Lookin through the ground glass of the Crown Graphic. It's upside down and backwards because that's what lenses do when light passes through them. SLR viewfinders are the right way 'round because they have a pentaprism that changes the upsidedownbackwards around so it looks normal.
In fact, our brain does this too. The sky, for example, gets projected onto the bottom of your retina!
