Haha, I like how mine turned out well enough, but I'm biased ^_^ It works for me because I painted it that way. I'm sure the cover they're using is great, too.

(And either way, they're stuck with my frame and typography, regardless of whose illustration slapped in there, hehe ^_^)

Hehe, we're different people ^_^ I can see some similarity, especially in the wolf's linework. It's rare for me to use this much line anymore, and I think after totally destroying my hand on those lines, it'll probably be awhile again ^_^

Heh, I hear ya on that. Every time I try stippling, by the time I finish the piece, I'm pretty sure it's the last time I'll ever try it again. >.<

all in all, i just WANT this.

Hehe, I'm actually really bad at keeping my style consistent at all... I'm just really easily influenced by whatever the outside stimulus du jour is.

It can be fun to change it up and yay for variety and all, but sometimes I wonder if the stuff I do now looks anything like the stuff I did 6 months ago, to say nothing of the crazy bullshit I'll no doubt have started doing 6 months from now.

Your art makes me want to go read these books...which I guess is its job.
