A VERY overdue art trade with Avery (Palmitos on Tumblr)!
I had all sorts of ideas for what I was going to draw, but I got really overwhelmed and ended up just drawing... Nightshade. Because he's really soothing to draw, and it's been so long since I've drawn him. Holy COW I didn't realize how much better I'd gotten at bird anatomy until I drew this and realized I can draw owls that actually look like birds of prey, now?!
I feel like I might have screwed up his tail. But I can't find any references that show his tail, and my memory is fuzzy.
