For those of you just tuning in, Sugar was a stray that I found on the side of the road monday evening.
This is how the sweet girl begs for attention. She shouldn't even feel the need to beg for attention, but that's going to be a hard habit of hers to break. Though it's kind of cute, cause she'll yip at you until you pet her. She's been on her medications for 5 days now, and we've seen a drastic improvement in her personality. She's so much happier, itching less and less every day. We can touch the top of her back now without her flinching because it's not tender anymore. (It's still bad on her backside though) We've cleaned up her ears a little bit more, and her eyes aren't gunky anymore. When we first got her and got some food in her, she could still barely walk. Today, she ran next to Reign across the backyard and back to me at the door. I shed a tear, she's made such an improvement. She's not going to be running again until we get her xrays done, of course. It surprised us both that she ran. She's definitely a trooper.
She still has a very long way to go, though. Between xrays, bloodwork, and the rest of her medication, not to mention anything else that needs to be done... It's a wonderful price to pay to see her get better everyday.
My paypal is riahchurampage@hotmail.com if you wanted to send a dollar or two along for her sake. Her next vet appointment is on Tuesday. :) Transitioning jobs is so very hard, and my electric is about to get turned off on monday. So every little bit donated goes towards her to help me. ;n;
