This image is so exploitable. When put into its proper context it makes perfect sense but outside of it you could add a good number of unrelated captions and still get the same result.
In layman's terms: His expression is so open ended it could go with any number of subtitles to achieve a humorous effect.
None the less I am really liking this comic, especially the fact that Kedamono is not taking the cliche route of allowing someone to unjustly put blame on him.
