RuBoo and the majority of his army were standing outside, watching the sky. There was a cool breeze coming from the direction of the Mushroom Kingdom castle. However, they were looking in the opposite direction; toward Bowser's castle. Three airships were starting to come into view. "Ready the Bill Blasters." RuBoo said.

"Yes, sir." the temporary leader of the Shy Squad said. He ran to the Shy Guys, who were all standing near the Bullet Bill Blasters. They started to move when the orders were relayed to them, quickly loading a Bullet Bill into the back of each of the five Blasters. Everyone watched as the airships got closer. Two of them were the normal brown color, but one was a more noticeable pink. He decided to target that one first. As the airships continued heading toward the Mushroom castle, they passed right in front of RuBoo and his army. Several hundred feet of the ground, of course. "Fire!" RuBoo commanded, pointing toward the pink one, and a loud "boom" was heard as the five Bullet Bill Blasters shot all at once. They were reloaded and shot again, though the Blasters' shots were no longer in synch with one another.

Pom Pom rushed onto the bridge as the second volley of shots exploded on the sides of her airship. "Boom Boom!" she cried. "We're under attack!"

"I know!" the Koopa at the wheel shouted. "I can hear the explosions! Not to mention feel them. Who's shooting at us?"

"I don't know!" his sister replied. "All I know is-" Another volley of explosions.

Silence overtakes them. "All you know is what?" Boom Boom finally asked.

"All I know is that someone is shooting Bullet Bills at us from ground level!"

"Well, ready the cannons and shoot back! Tell the minions that's an order!"

"I will." Pom Pom said, leaving the bridge as another volley of Bullet Bills exploded on the side of the airship.

"Won't be too much longer now." RuBoo said, watching the explosions shake the pink airship. "Should go down after another volley." Another five shots fired from the Bill Blasters rang out. The Bullet Bills hit the side of the ship, and it rocked once more before it went down. It made a loud sound as it crashed to the ground, and RuBoo called to open fire on the next airship.

Kitsune came up from the underground base. "Started without me, huh?" he asked.

"Get to your station, Kitsune." RuBoo muttered. "I'll send a few soldiers to search the downed airship for survivors." Another five shots rang out.

"Ludwiiiig!" Bowser Jr called, rushing to the bridge of the airship piloted by his eldest sibling. "Someone is shooting at Larry's ship! They've already shot down Pom Pom's! Who's shooting at us!?!"

"I don't know, you little brat." the elder Koopa growled. "Why? Your diapers on that ship?"

The younger Koopa growled back. "You know I don't wear diapers! Give the order to open fire! Your minions won't listen to me, and they're the ones manning the cannons!"

"Y'know, you may be father's favorite, but you should still respect your older siblings, at least." Ludwig said. He pulled a lever to the right of the wheel. "Inform my little brother that he is to return to father to get his airship repaired. Send a Paratroopa if you must. Then get to the battle. Yes, there will be a battle. Whoever this is, they've just started a war with the king of Koopas. Not a smart idea." The Koopaling left the bridge as the Airship abruptly stopped, sending Bowser Jr lurching forward.

RuBoo watched as the third airship dropped anchor. He had no idea what was going on, but he kept the Bullet Bills firing. This airship was a bit sturdier than the first, but he could tell it was about to go down, just the same. After a few volleys, however, it still hadn't gone down, and it was clearly starting to turn around. He saw a blue-robed Magikoopa flying on a broom around the damaged ship, possibly using its magic to keep it aloft. As the ship turned, it began to rise slightly, going out of the range of the Bullet Bill Blasters. He then saw something going down the anchor chain of the third and final airship. A spiky shell, and big, blue hair… No doubt, it was the Koopaling Ludwig von Koopa. "Get all soldiers to the battlefield immediately! Prepare for land battle!" he commanded. Another five Blaster shots. "…And put away the Bullet Bill Blasters, they're not doing any good!" he added.

The next part will be a land battle. However, I will not continue with the story until I have a total of 5 PCs, not including RuBoo. That means I only need 2 more. Shouldn't be too hard a goal to reach, right?
