Another commissioned work for 
hyenafur - One of his newer characters-Marcus,a Carthidginian Soldier. Marcus is based on a Barbary Lion,a species that almost went extinct and now sadly,exists only in captivity. This piece is the companion to: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/834187/ . I decided to make these a set because according to hyenafur's story notes for his characters,Marcus eventually marries Bahiya the Lioness. They make a lovely couple,don't they?

Yeah, he looks bored and lonely, like *sigh* "Won the war, brought peace to my country, got to be king, I´m rich....but all that doent matter wehn you dont have anyone you can share all that."
He really looks like the guy who has everything....and yet nothing. I bet he wont look bored with his Lioness together.

Thank you! ^ ^ I'm largely self-taught....I learned from the comic books and comic strips I read,by studying Animation,paintings and Illustrations in books that I enjoyed,by reading art and anatomy books of all kinds,and most important of all,long,long hours of practice and work.

Marcus was the son of a Carthaginian Lord. He is a member of the Sacred Guard, who were similar to the Immortals of Persia.
He ends up marrying Bahiya, an Egyptian Lady, but he still has his lover, a melanistic lioness named Valeria.
