So here's some little 1e/AD&D Fiend Folio friends. Apparently TSR UK's staff decided that people might like not just one but *two* vaguely theropod sapient races to put in games. I think this indicates that I missed my chance to be part of TSR UK's staff in the early '80s.
Babblers are apparently mutant lizardmen who look like small allosaurids and sneak up on adventurers by crawling. Their vocalizations can't be cracked by linguistics or spells like comprehend languages, and one gaming blog suggested that they go RARARARARARAR.
Bonesnappers are just small theropod looking dudes who collect bones, eat adventurers, that stuff.
