Hehe i still find it hard to get my brain around that too, especially when there's multiple light sources in a screen. Though the shading looks good to me 8) I tend to use a dark purple to shade and turn the layer to multiply or Overlay. Its all down to experimenting relay, though there's also some very handy Tutorials on deviantART or Youtube.
