hmmm, i wondered if watercolor holds well on other paper types like that. like bristol and such. would be nice to have that smooth surface.

I've used watercolour on bristol. It does hold just fine but does tend to pool a bit so it requires you to work faster and move the paint quicker. Give it a try:)

Brilliant composition, you truly are great in chosing colors and using them to give the picture the perfect mood.
There is only one thing, the shading of the mans right (from his point of view) shoulder looks a bit strange to me. You used a strong light effect and then a hard change to relatively dark brown. And then it gets lighter. I believe it would have worked better if you startet with light effekt, then light brown and a soft change into darker coloring. Because now it looks more like a swale to me. It doesn't change the fact, that this is great artwork, I know how tricky this material can be.

All in all its a wonderful picture.

This is sweet and romantic, Heather. This could have been more sensual and suggestive, but it works just fine as a tame moment between lovers.

Her muzzle looks a little too fore-shortened perhaps, but both their expressions are nice, as they give one another warm looks.

Great work, I just love this kind of gentle intimacy, and so nice that someone gave you such inspiration. I hope we'll get to see more nice human/furry pics like this, they make a good compliment to the more erotic pieces and makes the characters more 3-dimensional getting to see them in other situations.
