I had a weird dream the night before last. It was pretty long, but it was almost entirely about cats. I lived in this house on top of a cliff, and there were terraces that went down to the bottom with other houses and grass and such on them. Its hard to explain... Anyways, I had 3 cats that I took care of, even though we still had the dogs. I would take them into a small room and feed them and give the
m water every day. A few weird things happened in this dream, but to explain them all would take a lot of typing. In short, one night when Xim's parents were holding a party, I was, as usual at large social gatherings, being ignored. One person I passed told me one of my cats was in the back room, so I went to investigate. However, after I caught this cat, I realized it was no cat I had ever met. It had a pure white underbelly, but it was mainly a bright shade of orange, with black and red stripes. Its was very large for your average housecat, and its fur was long, but very sleek and silky, and it didn't shed at all. The weirdest part: I could understand what it said. It told me to let it go because it needed to find someone, and I had apologized, saying I thought it was someone else. However, once she (yes, it was most certainly a girl) got a good look at me, she realized that /I/ was the one she was looking for. She told me a myth that said that along with Rhiannon (which is my full first name), who was supposed to be a goddess in human form on this earth, there was supposed to be her 3 companions. One of them was to be her feminine influence and guide, named Avek. The cat told me her name was Avek, and as in the myth, she had come to be my feminine guide and guardian. She somehow produced a piece of very old looking parchment into my hands which somehow proved she was who she said she was. I don't remember what it said, just that it said her name on the top left in fancy old script and it had a red wax seal on the bottom right. After that point the dream got really weird and confusing, and became completely different, almost looking like an old school video game. But the cat part was really neat. So I actually drew Avek~ Here she is! It was hard doing the stripes and such. I just did it the best I could.
