A B+???? WHat school do you go to??? OMG! If that's only a B+ I'm gonna have a seriously hard time in Art School...

lol, well... I go to the Academy of Art and all our teachers are in the field, so to speak, so their standards are pretty high. This teacher though, isn't quite as hard as the others I have had, so the B + was actually a welcome surprise. Any other teacher and it would have been a C + or B- at most. I guess it depends on the teacher, really.

This is my second year, so I'm used it. But I agree with the B+, there's definitely stuff I could have fixed if I hadn't sprayed it with fixative already. But, if you look at your reference picture long enough, you tend to miss details - especially after working on it for 6 and then 8 hours. I got points taken off for the washiness of the top of the cranium, and lack of detail in the pelvis.

Nice, fine art. Don't get enough of that on here honestly. :D I go to a fine art school, so I know the feeling.

I don't know why everyone thinks b+ is a poor grade. It's almost an A, and most teachers hate giving out As.
I say this is wonderful either way.

well, art college is a little bit tougher art wise, so you need to be somewhat commited in order to get at least an average grade. Plus I liked doing the skeleton, my pieces with regular people - aren't nearly as detailed and nice.

I always hated drawing skeletons XD This is a very good job on one =)
