More things from 2010- this time, the owls! You can see how much simpler my first ones were compared to the birds I do now, but I find there's still a charm I like to their simple shapes. They're still expressive. The tiniest grey owl is still one of my smallest pieces, only surpassed by the dwarf hams. I still have him, actually, opted to keep him and a barn owl for myself! Oddly enough, piece per piece they seem to have sold better than my newer owls too.
Clockwise from upper left, they are based on the Snowy, Great Horned, Barn, and Great Grey Owl, though obviously not based on any sense of scale between those raptors.
