Backing Track by the City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra and purchased on iTunes. Original song from the Musical Love Never Dies.
After having scared Wally away, Birch misses him terribly. He then received the most heart rending news he has ever received in his life.
I forget who it was that suggested this song to me, but I am very glad they did. I literally practiced the scream in this chapter for months, and was amazed when I hit it perfectly on one take.

Wow... Just wow...
I can't even begin to express how amazed I am by this.
Not only how amazing the singing is, but how connected and heartfelt that monologue was, it literally had raw emotion pouring out of it.
This song is really not an easy song to sing, but you managed to find the perfect balance between emotion and musicality.
Bravo, Max. Bravo.

Just finished the main storyline after having heard this on your stream on Sunday... I have to say its a lot more deep and interesting then I had at first thought and deals with a lot more... dark themes than I would have first imagined. Nice to see something this serious on here. Also the entire guardian thing is rather intriguing. As I said on Scatter's submissions it seems like Birch is "reearning" his guardian again... interesting concept.
Funny how the guardian idea came to be:
I was asked by
ratseye to have Dipper cover The Rain The Park and Other Things after I had done Indian Lake by The Cowsills. I did, and the result sounded so good I decided to try and incorporate it into the plot. But then came the question of who The Flower Girl was. Initially I was going to keep that question unanswered, but then I decided to make her an actual character, based on the comics of
peterandcompany.
Then,
bobbythornbody gave himself a guardian, which I then incorporated into the main plot in Chapter 94, kinda sorta, since it was a dream, you are never quite sure. Then Birch got one for two reasons: so he would have a reason to sing Shilo and it solved a problem of how he finds out about the trouble Wally is in. It also answers the question of, with so many guardians, why don't people know about them. Answer: they do, but usually think they are simply childhood imaginary friends.

If I recall correctly, Uncle Birch was the pianist until he started singing in the Beach Bears.. if Wally were to be the pianist, that would free Uncle Birch to work the sound board and occasionally sing.... This way, Wally is always in the company of Uncle Star, especially Uncle Star, and Dipper. His lessons could be coupled with Dippers lessons.. problem solved?
oops, I should have listened this chapter with headphones, that I'm in my parents' home (who are sleeping now) and it's later than midnight o///o
argh, it was better that it is today, he can do something... it would have been even worse if the date was... "yesterday"... GO FOR HIM!!!!
