Look at how hard I'm shipping.
I've really been wracking my brain over the whole grub-> humanoid thing with trolls. I know, not mine, I really shouldn't. Hussie's territory/species. Still, it isn't unheard of to have such extreme differences between adolescent and adult animals, especially in invertebrates. Though, we know from the fact that the mother-grub has a skull that trolls have bones as well.
So I made Karkat like a lobster. I see a lot of great art of people making trolls more alien/bug like, so this is sort of homage to that. His hair is like lobster fins under their tails. Yup.
In other news John is a huge dork and I still like him and KK the best so SHIPPING
