Yeah! Let's go and beat the Psychoblast!

Problem.

They did their force field thingy, and now you gotta go back to Aeon to kill everything you've once loved. Kind of. At least, that's the case for the Hopeseekers.

Lemme back up a bit. Skybound avoided annihilation by keeping their distance from the rampaging Psycho"Storm", and went to gather allies in the farlands. They've come across the Moondancers, Sidewinders, and Hopeseekers, and now they're returning to the lands of Psychoblast to finish this off. Well, something's gone haywire. It's like the moment they turn around, they see a lovely meadow, fields of flowers and sunshine and happiness waiting for them. In fact, that's exactly what it is. The world suddenly got cheery.

This is Hallowbright, which had been reduced to the colorless land of Timeblank. But now, for some reason, it's been restored in the blink of an eye. What is going on with the Hallowbright and Psychoblast, two sworn enemies? The heroes have no idea what to think of this. It's unlike anything they've ever seen. Oblivious, they head a ways into the harmonious landscape, greeted by a familiar, cute little face. (Because the Hallowbright are cute.) The Skybound and the Hallowbright, as little as they really knew each other, got along nicely. There was no tension, and that wasn't just because the Skybound stood aloof from the rest of the world.

This character guides the heroes across the Hallowbright region, telling them that a "leap through time" has driven out the Psychoblast and converted Timeblank back into its former self. This was the fail-safe of the Hallowbright. They knew that the Psychoblast would become powerful enough to destroy them one day. Had they failed, they would have unleashed what's simply called Plan B, and that had a lot of tricky time travel stuff. Based on the previous storyline solely in the Ruins, Plan B failed... so the Skybound are skeptical. But it's not like they can understand the process of time travel or how it even works in this case.

It's whacky, to say the least. It just doesn't make sense. Plan B was thwarted by the Psychoblast when they created Timeblank; a land devoid of time, no matter what the age. There was no time in the past presently in Timeblank, nor would there ever be time in the future presently. It's complicated, but in essence, they managed to terminate time, and Timeblank was proof of that. Had they just scorched the lands of Hallowbright, Plan B might have succeeded...

If the Skybound hadn't been isolated upon the floating islands, they would understand this more. Even the Coralborn, now supposedly extinct, knew what to make of this. Despite their ignorance, skepticism remained...
