I never realized how wide they were though, i though Harlie and the others had less? or maybe the girls had more?

This also makes me glad 8D I love drawing her and everyone else so much XD

The sensors? They vary from blaco to blaco it's not really a gender thing or anything like that. The girls tend to have more mostly because either their head sensors are trying to be made to look like they're emulating hair or just to give them overall a fancier look like Magenta while Janice Charlie barely have any. Really there's not really a set standard for sensors and gender (if that was the case Harlie and Harlin would probably both be considered girls 8'U), it's mostly just an aesthetics thing XD usually the ones we want to look more feminine will have more whereas the more masculine ones usually just stick to head sensors and maybe one or two more sets. Meredith's aren't exactly dainty or meant to look it or anything, she's just a cute little chubby lady so her over amount of floppy sensors are just meant to emphasize that 8D
Harlie's were just mildly inspired by frilled lizards XD (because i freakin love frilled lizards 8C)

and as for Mer's hippy sensors there, they're pretty much the same as Harlie's as far as amount and size goes. The only difference is hers are red and his are orange. They might look a little bigger here since they tend to blend in with the ones going down the base of her tail, that and i got a little carried away XD

frilled lizards ftw! and i can totally see getting carried away because when drew Harlie that one time i was "i can't get the computer right now, numbers do not matter *draws a mess of sensors*" lol XD and i guess i can see why she and her son match :3 they is together :3

psssh From what I can see you got them all where they're supposed to be XD and I forget their designs all the time XD Harlie's was way different when I first made him and his current design is just a series of mistakes. Their designs developed over time with their personalities I think XD When I made Mer, I never expected to actually use her as a character, she was just sorta there for Harlie character so when I did start using her I guess it just got toned down to something more practical and, in my opinion a little nicer looking pssssh XD it's funny how charries work that way 8'U
