ANOTHER suit?
What is this a trend or something? This suit concept was brainstormed at a recent convention while discussing a neon green fox tail that was purchased by myself at a renaissance faire in September. How awesome it would be to do a nuclear green character, and it came up that it would better fit a husky. I apologize for infringing on your apparent copyright on the international symbol for radioactivity, because neon green huskies are exactly like brown raccoons in every respect.
Perhaps you might benefit from a little research on the concept of "convergent thinking" where in general several people think of similar ideas completely without input from one another.

A trend that I started maybe.
And where do you get this "brown raccoons" thing anyways? Did you even look at the picture? The fur is tri-color, Green base, black center, and gray tips. It was made prior to Further Confusion 2007 where it debuted in the furry world, and proposed almost two years ago. I even posted about it on the Fursuit LJ back then after Animecat drew a concept picture of it. http://community.livejournal.com/fu.....t/1125084.html Note the date there. =P
Personally I think more radioactive animals would be cool. But the concept is not yours, is not Whitewolf's, I don't even think it is mine or Diadexxus's. I'm sure there was someone in the 50's comic world that came up with it. However, my suit, Chirrnobyl (note the play on the name there) is the first nuclear animal fursuit.
Whitewolf, I look forward to seeing your suit.

1: I wasn't even responding to you.
2: I did look at the picture, its not a great picture and I really don't have any interest in raccoons to prompt me to spend any time studying it for 'tri-color' fur detail.
3: Fursuit livejournal community eh? News to me, oddly I'm not a member of every community for everything. Perhaps had I known prior to conceptualizing the character that you have a suit with a radiation warning symbol on its back I'd have dismissed the idea before it ever even hit the sketch. Especially if I'd had any warning that I'd be accused of ripping an idea off a fursuit that I didn't know existed and frankly still don't particularly care about.
4: I'm GLAD you're not claiming the radioactive animal idea as your own original creation, because at that point I'd actually be motivated enough to do research about the subject and yank the proverbial rug firmly out from beneath your feet. On a personal note, I regard Godzilla to be the first radioactive critter of any notoriety.
Please, go ride your high horse somewhere else. You're screwing up the grass.
