My Fallout fancharacter and villain protagonist "Red"
Suit design inspired by
the-dalek-supreme s Blue Eyes https://www.furaffinity.net/view/5525506/ and by Cobra Commander. He is in some ways a more competent version of the latter.
Red originates from the same vault and works for Dr. Zarkiov. Usually his job involces gathering allies, technologies and mutant samples for Zarkiov's clone army, and this usually devolves into odd jobs for his various allies.
He is utterly amoral and has enough criminal energy for an entire syndicate. On the other hand he is aware of his armorality and tendency to overconfidence and keeps Renata https://www.furaffinity.net/view/6004847/ around as a morality pet and strategic advisor - and as one of the best killers money can buy.
Under all his criminal energy however he still has a shred of compassion, and unlike Renata he accepts it as part of his personality. He is willing to risk his life for anybody he find sympathetic and willing to leave a trail of destruction should anyone imperil or abduct them.
On the other hand he is also willing to risk his life for anything he considers a challenge. And to leave a trail of destruction just for the hell of it.
What saves the general populace from him is no system of morality but only his twisted sense of class - only a truly magnificient crime is worth committing. He is fashioning himself a supervillain, fully aware of it and laughing all the way.
His true name is only known in his vault, when asked he usually takes on the alias "Redford".
Abilities:
Red is very good with words and explosives. With high intelligence and charisma, considerable stealth and enough knowledge in repair and medicine to buy time or kill somebody he is your man for both demagogics and assassinations.
He is however not as good in actual combat. His Plan B is running away, waiting till the dust settles and planning another assassination.
Potential:
His charisma, intelligence and stealth can be improved to uncanny levels, making him the man to kill and impersonate a president. Repair and medicine can be improved but only so far as to patch himself up and blow stuff up. He can learn how to arm a nuclear bomb but not brain surgery. He will also always stay fragile in combat, relying on agility to survive. Sufficient improvement of his skills however can turn him into a good damage dealer, both at range and in melee.
Morally he is a lost cause and a few villages beyond redemption. Beware if he is the one with the highest intelligence and charisma in the group, as he may lead the team on dangerous ways. Without a morality pet his antics will get worse and worse, outright threatening will cause him to leave.
His only loyalties lie with those he is sympathetic to, and with Dr. Zarkiov. The former can be exploited when using him as backup as he is the team member who will blow half the base up to save you if he likes you. Bribing him with sex works, but his sympathy level will never rise above a certain level, except though forging battle experiences. Gain his respect as a commander and he will follow you to hell and back, just for the taste of challenge. Gain in addition his full sympathy (max sympathy increases with battle expericences) and he will never betray you.
