Author's Note: Ideally, when this is set in book-form, the section in which everyone is speaking Japanese will be blocked off not with quotation marks or angle brackets, but with proper CJK quotation marks (「 and 」). Unfortunately, because Unicode is not yet the universal standard, I can't rely on RTFs properly carrying that character, so for the FA edition of the story, I used angle brackets. It's a kludge, but one I can't really avoid for now.
