“In each little life, we can see great truth and beauty, and in each little life we glimpse the way of all things in the universe. If we alow ourselves to be enchanted by the beauty of the ordinary, we begin to see that all things extraordinary. ”
― Dean Koontz, A Big Little Life: A Memoir of a Joyful Dog
Portrait of Evie for Gemily West, who lost four best friends and a soul mate in one singularly terrible moment.
I’m not very pleased with this scan, the scanner ate almost all of the pale colors and shading I had done on Evie’s muzzle. It’s not a flat white like in the scan, but there were blues, pinks, and greys that made it look so much softer. Background circle is a cut out piece of scrapbook paper.

I will have to show this to Evie's other owner/breeder. Evie was the last breeding from her favorite stud dog. I picked Evie out when she was a few days old and told the co owner I had the perfect home for her. I will never forget July 14, 2012 when she kept climbing on everyone in the lake T-T
