well they ARE bible passages. and even though you think it is a waist of time, it is not your place to attack others views, just as you are entitled to your views so are they. nor would I ask you to change yours.
that's great you think that but seriously, leave others beliefs alone. I myself am a pagan but you dunn see me flying off the handle cuz you dunn see things how I see things. it's rather immature. and to put such a negative comment up on a piece of commissioned art is just distasteful. specially if you like the suit, and specially since it's for some one else. not to mention the meanings behind those bible verses are none hateful and very similar to my chest tattoo's in a manor, probably something meant for himself.
I guess in the end I just dunn understand why everyone feels it's their job to tell people their wrong over an un-provable point. you can't prove your right and neither can we. so I guess all's I hasta say to you is next time, just don't comment if you feel that way =3

Morons? They have the right to free speech just the same as you do, that means that if they feel they want to speak out against religion, they shouldn't be attacked for it.
It works both ways.
Now, I have nothing to do with this nor can I see the OP's comments so I'd appreciate not being attacked myself.

free speech dose not mean blatantly insulting another view points. that is what that was over. the person whom deleted his comments was making rash comment targeting Christians in general. it is all fair and fine if he wished to just say his opinion, that is free speech, there was no need for his harsh and uncalled for criticisms. as you can see I won the argument and he deleted his posts.
so he is entitled to his view point, but he can save what he said for his vlog instead of acting as such.

I'm not personally offended. and you loose the "free speech" when you insult another, that isn't free speech. anyhow I never attacked him, I merely pointed out what he was doing was being offensive and insulting.
free speech is about voicing your opinion in safety knowing your opinion will not be attacked or shot down.
free speech DOSE NOT give you the right to damb others opinions. for then you are not allowing others to have opinions.
if he had said something to the likeness of: "I don't personally like the christian under tones in this" that is all well and good, but his first comment was "what is this made by a priest?" that is underhanded and insulting... there fore not free speech, just dick move.

Sorry, but yes. Freedom is freedom without constraint or censorship. No one has to be "nice" to voice their opinions.
Also if it were in the law that you don't get that freedom if it offends someone, imagine how out of hand that could get?
You have to keep in mind the difference between subjectivity and fact. Someone's perspective should never dictate whether or not they're allowed to express their views.
In short, get over yourself because people can say whatever they want and that's the way it should be.

so racism, we should allow things like that? hate? so you find it OK for things like the west burrow church to do what they do? you think it's ok that neo-nazi's say what they say?
freedom of speech should be abused in such way? anyone can say anything? for any reason? no matter how hateful and hurt full?
there is a difference between an opinion and hate my friend and using freedom of speech as a guise to say mean hateful things is wrong.
I'm sorry you think the way you do about the whole subject matter.
and fine if that is the way you wish it to be used then I had ever right to state my opinion that he was saying was wrong to say. and YOU should not be attacking me for voicing that opinion. it's a two way street if your going to use it that way. and then I will claim the same. I have a right to say this, and it's my opinion it was wrong to say. and it is my opinion that using "freedom of speech" in such a fashion is abuse of the right to voice an opinion in a matter of attacking some one elses views.
I also think your a fool, and you should do more then Google the term. in fact go look up exatically what they meant by "freedom of speech" (they being the founding fathers) do some research and see that freedom of speech was never meant to be used to attack others views.
aslo "the right of people to express their opinions publicly without governmental interference, subject to the laws against libel, incitement to violence or rebellion, etc. "
I saw his comments being libel defined as "anything that is defamatory or that maliciously or damagingly misrepresents. " witch I saw his comments as.
but this is enough arguing on here I have nothing left to say to anyone whom thinks this way, I will not respond further to you.

As I've mentioned elsewhere, Love the suit very cute and expressive!
I have to say it's gotta be double the encouragement and smiles especially
if you first see a big lovable cat come into the room then if you're familiar with
said verses you'll be smiling even more.
Great job on the suit!! :D

Great suit. I saw it up on FB and though it was romans 19:11 which made me sweat a bit. But after the artist corrected me that it was 29:11 i was much happier. Pretty much for those that do not know what those passages mean. Together in the order of right to left, one could say this "Jesus loves me this I know, for the bible tells me so." its rather cute if you ask me, even though I am an atheist.
I met Jerms at Oklacon this year, I got to talk to him, and hang out with him a little bit, He is a really nice guy and I wanted to see who made his suit because I loved the way it was done and expected a decent amount of positive feedback.
Then I see comments like yours, from atheists who at even the mention of something religious even as simple as bible verses on a fursuit say something hateful. Atheist's who believe they are better than those who "believe in a sky daddy" and would be more "tolerant" around people than "those simple minded christians" Whatever philosphy you go by Hate is hate "I'd point and laugh" calling something personal as faith to someone as a "delusion." Ridicule will not put you well in the eyes of ANYONE! Did this fursuiter insult you? Threaten to kill your family? No, you would point and laugh at him just because he has scripture written on his arm, which automatically makes him a target of ridicule. Also why shouldn't we have more christian furs in the fandom? We could learn alot from them, share experiences, get to know each other better, and grow as a community instead of isolation.
But you know what the fandom does need?, more reasonable people. People who can find ways not to hate on people just because of a particular affiliation, people who know that not all people are the same, people who want to make the world better by finding ways to build bridges and not barriers. I thought Atheists knew all about reason, that they knew all about why someone should do or not do something based on logic, I guess not, because from what I've seen right now I have reason to believe you are a bully. Which I hope is not true.

-I sure don't remember posting the word "hate" or any of its synonyms.
-No, I'm not going to be tolerant. I'm not going to tolerate the harmful and willful ignorance of reality that causes so much pain and suffering.
-There is nothing positive to learn from Christian furs that they can't espouse without supernatural beliefs.
-I am not for isolation. If someone is confident enough to post Bible coordinates on their fursuit I expect them to be confident enough to handle ridicule and maybe even to engage in conversation about it.
-Logic: Christianity is either cause or justification for a great many bad things. Christianity is not necessary at all. Therefore, I oppose Christianity and mock it as it deserves to be mocked.

"I'm not going to tolerate the harmful and willful ignorance of reality the causes so much pain and suffering"
Do you think that all Christians are the same? Such as they all hate gays, or they all object science? Do you realize how many Gay Christian furs there are, or how many don't hate on others because of their believes? Don't think the right-wing Christian is the only kind that's out there.
"There is nothing positive to learn from Christian furs they they can't espouse without supernatural beliefs"
Morals about loving your neighbor as yourself, helping others without wanting anything in return, and other such qualites don't seem so supernatural. They seem pretty helpful as the way I see it.
No, you are not hateful, you seem intolerant, is that any better than hate? Your logic about Christiany leading to bad things and it not being necessary make sense. However, so does War, which is caused by many other factors other than religon. and famine can lead to bad things, but is famine neccessary? How about disease?
There is another step to "Logic" which I have mentioned before: REASON. I have no reason to mock others based on just their spirutallity or religon because I do not know them. And just because they belong to a certain sect I will not use the excuse of letting past events in history become the law on how I think they will act, because I know that history changes, and I know that nothing good can come from making fun of others. It is better to have friends than enemies.

No, no, no, yes, yes.
None of those values are unique to Christianity. That's what I meant by "...[that] they can't espouse without supernatural beliefs". Loving your neighbor as yourself? Cool. Christianity didn't invent that. Altruism? Awesome! Don't need to believe in a god for that.
Being intolerant of bad things is indeed better than hate. Neither famine nor disease are necessary. I'm not seeing the connection between famine/disease and religiosity. Besides the god virus analogy, of course.
I'm glad you're so accepting. Seriously, it takes all kinds to contribute to society. Now let me be judgmental of things that need to be judged!

You said Christianity is something that is bad that is also unnecessary. War, famine, and disease are also things that are bad and unnecessary. Why go out of your way to put down a certain group when there are hundreds of things that belong in the same category.
Why do you need to judge people? You know nothing about this person other than the fact he has scripture on his fursuit, and just because of that you have the gall to say you would make fun of him for that and nothing else. When in I know for a fact this suit belong to a very kind-hearted person who treats everyone with respect.
So no matter what a Christian does it's automatically bad? So if they raised a money to help a charitable organization or fund research to treat cancer patients, it doesn't matter how helpful they are, because it is still bad? A group of gay Christians who want to teach people about equality and information about the LGBT community, Oh i guess it doesn't matter if they do, because they will still be bad no matter what, because the have faith.
Why should it matter if someone believes in a higher power or not? As long as two people treat one another with respect, and to not be so quick to judge one another based on sultry things like this?
To be honest, if you are trying to get people to go against spirituality, you sure aren't setting a good example

War, famine, and disease are not preventable as religiosity is. And I'm not "putting down" any group of people, just a belief.
'Cuz people judge people like me according to the bible and take rights away from us.
"So no matter what a Christian does it's automatically bad?" - Where in the world do you get that idea from?
"So if they raised a money to help a charitable organization or fund research to treat cancer patients, it doesn't matter how helpful they are, because it is still bad?" - Why on earth would you think that?

It matters because peoples' beliefs inform their actions. And those actions have real world consequences even on people without those beliefs.
To be honest, if you are trying to get into a good conversation, you sure aren't doing very well. Less straw-men, more relevant discussion.

You are not using my examples correctly they are just assumptions based off of what you told me.
You said Christianity is bad no matter what, so I gave examples of what if a christian did these acts of good does that still make them bad, just because they have a belief in something? Ok?
Do you think all people who believe in God want to judge you and take your rights away? That is certainly not true! I'm sorry for whatever you have experienced in your life, but why can't you see that Just because someone believes in a higher power means they shouldn't be rediculed.

"Religion is bad. Being intolerant of bad things is good. Therefore everything every religious person ever does is bad."
That is a non sequitur. The conclusion does not follow from its premises.
Let me try to summarize.
Faith is bad. Faith is the excuse people give for believing something when they have no good reason, and they know they have no good reason.
Believing something without having reason for doing so means you're going to do some things for bad reasons, possibly some bad things.
And the good things people do that they would attribute to their faith...people can and do do those exact same good things without faith, so it's not necessary.

If people can do good things with God and people can do good things without God, the same as people can do evil things with God and people can do evil without God, then why should one be the more dominant philosophy over the other?
Why should not believing in God be better than believing in God if both results are the same? Also do you have to have a reason for believing in something? When someone says, "I just don't know why, but I feel something inside" when there is no physical signs of anything wrong with them, are they faking it? Or is there something there?

I am describing a feeling in which some would say isn't physical or psychological. Inner feelings that some one say connect them more spiritually than physically. Though, Spiritually differs from person to person, but since you said you cannot grasp that concept, you will never understand, and that is perfectly acceptable. Though there are alot of things people do that other people think are stupid, some think the furry fandom is stupid, and they will never understand why we are who we are. But we do it anyway.
Why must we find reasons to separate from one another instead of finding reasons to join together? Why can't people rejoice in their differences that make us human
Why must we find reasons to separate from one another instead of finding reasons to join together? Why can't people rejoice in their differences that make us human
This all started because you attacked my friend. A person you didn't know other than he had a belief in God and choice to express that through his fusuit. A person who you picked one aspect of him to make fun of, just like so many bullies before you. Faith works two ways, it can be both good and bad, but to focus on only the bad for your gain? Why? If I can think of reasons why I shouldn't make fun of someone and help people as a whole, why can't everyone else? Some people Don't need God, some people do, there is nothing wrong with either of that. The world doesn't need more Atheists or Christians, it needs more reasonable people to understand each others differences and try to find ways that everyone can benefit and be happy, slander and ridicule goes nowhere. There is no right and there is no wrong, Though I will leave with this, no matter how much logic you use in your arguments when trying to explain something, leaving cruel comments and having a negative outlook on people will not have you acknowledged by many.
~Build bridges not barriers~ This is something I have learned from all faiths and even non ones to, You wish no ill will upon me, why should I wish ill will upon you?
~Build bridges not barriers~ This is something I have learned from all faiths and even non ones to, You wish no ill will upon me, why should I wish ill will upon you?
The conversation I wanted to have with you based on what you have told me is this.
Why should those who believe in God be ridiculed?
You said there are people who judge you and want to take away your rights? For every person who you think wants to take away your rights because of a higher power, there are 10 more who want to fight for your rights because of said higher power. It's just how things are.
To bully someone makes you no better than the person who bullied you. You win by One Uping people not bringing them down to your level, God or no God everyone can benefit from that.

I'm aware that not all Christians are bigots.
But you keep missing my point. Let me try to point it out to you. Here's what you said:
"For every person who you think wants to take away your rights because of a higher power, there are 10 more who want to fight for your rights because of said higher power."
No. A Christian doing the right thing has nothing to do with them being Christian. It has everything to do with them being moral, and morality exists quite well (and I argue exclusively) outside of religion.

Why would the entire fandom be trodden by that book? There are many different types of people inside the fandom. No to people are the same. Is it because the majority of the fandom is gay? So...Do you think there aren't any gay Christian furs in the fandom? Do you think there aren't any tolerant furs in the fandom? Is this a fandom of where we can only express ourselves in limited ways? I thought this fandom excepted all kinds of people no matter what they are, but I guess expressing your faith on your fursuit, which you can design any way you'd like, crosses the line.
Remember when you said to me that you were glad that I'm so accepting of everyone no matter what their beliefs and that it takes all kinds to contribute to society? How is mocking and ridicule, and having a negative outlook on people just because they have faith, How does that make society better? When has having negative attitudes toward others ever made society better? If you honestly want to people to not believe in God, bullying them will not help your cause.
Wanna talk about someone that needs to get over theirself? How about someone that leaves a snarky comment to someone, then blocks them so they can't respond?
also, there's no proof for or against the tooth fairy. don't see you writing shit about the tooth fairy on your stuff!

This is a very nice suit! Don't know why a lot of people would really bash on this suit just because he has bible verses written on him. If anything, his purpose is to probably spread the love that he has for everyone and to show it by having bible verse tattoos. I mean sure,
wolfjedisamuel may have a Nazi sign for his character, but do you see people bashing on him for that? Where is the love people? Don't be filled by bitterness and overreact just because someone has bible verses on their fursuit. And do you only bash just because it's something you don't like? If you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all. And, I can't believe I had to say one of those old sayings just to support this. Also, to put it in plain terms, to a naive eye, those tattoos would be nothing but just letters and numbers. Letters and numbers that can possibly mean nothing at all, but to people who retaliate against it because they recognize it as a bible verse? YOU HAVE TO BE A CATHOLIC/CHRISTIAN THAT PROBABLY LEFT CHRISTIANITY AND WENT ATHEIST TO RECOGNIZE IT AS A BIBLE VERSE (if you saw it for the first time and also didn't research it on Google)!
Why bash on something that is senseless and uneccessary such as why those bible verses are on this fursuit? You're only wasting your time and effort that people don't want to hear or see on submissions like these.
But anyways, the quality of this suit is very decent. I really like the eyes on this fursuit. Are all of your fursuit heads all have a static jaw, and not a movable jaw? Just curious. But your style is very consistent otherwise.

There are times when I know what to say. I've seen a lot of this crap, and it's like "Seriously? You don't like it just because of this reason? Can you be more ignorant?" I may be a Catholic, but I don't keep up-to-date with my bible and shove Christianity down people's throat like how some super-religious people can be. I use the bible as a reminder of how a person should act towards another person, whether if I share the same religion or not. I know there are some passages in there that say some stuff about no gay marriage and such, but this bible were of tales and stories from that time period. A lot has changed in society, and the only thing that we can do is to just accept what goes on in this world as of today. Learn from the old ways, apply it to the new day. I'm sure that God intended to have people with gender preference(gay, lesbian, trans) and it is only a test on people's tolerance and acceptance of other beings such as them. Oh, by the way I'm just rambling. But you get my point, right? >w>
I am quite a fan of this fursuit. :3
Don't let what the haters say get you down, this is absolutely LOVELY! And its so clever they chose a lion to have the scriptures put on. <33
I'd love to meet this suiter in person. They probably get a lot of hate and flack from people, which is such a shame. :c
