A Dance with Moonlight

Brisk is the world outside, frigid and cold air fills my lungs as I take my steps outside, with not a soul around I sigh, bathing in the cold blues of the moonlight streets.

From the darkness comes shapes, a living breathing night all welcomed by the fluorescent glow of the night ahead, distant sounds carried over by the gentle breeze, a world unending as I find myself far from where I started, reminded more as I delve into it's quiet embrace that for this short while it is I beside those who would travel in the moonlight, those who are but shapes in the blinding abyss, travelers who's intent may not even be of this realm, tonight as the sky hangs an ashen gray, tonight as the stars quietly hum their own tune.

Tonight we are all welcome, from distant lands to the spaces inbetween, shades of another time collide as if only just neighbors with our living world. We're all one in the same on this; the ever blackened ravens night.
