So, today I got my tablet device thingy in the post, so I decided to try it out. It takes some getting use to, I can say that much. So this picture is pretty much just me getting used to the thing and finding out how the program that came with it works. Still a lot to learn. This is supposed to be a golden eagle, but adding the golden neck feathers didn't quite go as planned. Photoshop might be a better program than the one that came with this, but I'll just stay on this for now.

Even though it takes a lot of extra effort, color makes the picture WAY better than without. Even though it's not 100% correct. It took me about 3 hours in total to create this from ground up (Just started on clean slate with the whole thing). First I tried to use a model for it, originally it was meant to be white-tailed sea eagle (hence the beak/head size) but I found it easier to actually just draw from memory and make it up as I go. I think that overall it looks alright. Certainly enough for the standard of what I usually draw.

Now since I have this, I will probably start on a comic soon. Though I will practice more on this before I do. Possibly I will take some of my older pictures and re-upload them in color.
