notes, because i think this thing deserves them and i'm going to "force" you to read them since nobody talks to me BAWWWWWWWW.

1. general work and reason. this is the second version of this file. i had one a while back, not long after i got fruity loops 3, and just kept updating it as i upgraded. somewhere along the line between 5 and 6, it was corrupted so i pretty much had to do everything from scratch. but not really, since i'd started the song in modplug. (see the "through the years" version.)

i did this rather quickly when i got into my "i want to write char theme music for people" period. i wasn't that good and only had modplug... which people will note sounds horrible when rendered. but i was able to lay the basics for this and a few other songs i'll put up eventually.

2. vocals... it's me. i had to record myself like... 10 times because mic boost was on AND I DIDN'T KNOW IT. windows has like 3 different settings for the mic, and i always checked two and it wasn't on but i just remembered the third after my final recording session. anyway, there are lots of simultaneous me's doing this, even with consolidating vocal tracks for the sake of ease... -looks at the workfile- 5 clips with one of those being the consolidated set, containing 3-5 clips themselves.

LOT of work i could've avoided if i sang better and knew that boost was on, since most work went to wondering how to filter the white noise without muddying it all up.

3. character. i have, in retirement, a char based on darkstalkers, john maurice danvari talbain [long name because of what happened in rp]. if you play darkstalkers 3, he's the murdering wolf that gallon got mistaken for, and encounters as a final boss. other than the name and his abilities [in some way, copying at least EXSpecial from most darkstalkers, as well as gallon's abilities]... he isn't part of play as much as any other fan chars for sonic are. finding a good felicia, hsien-ko, and bbhood to play against was fun though. the morrigan wasn't all that fun.

4. lyrics. i suck at them, i say. sometimes i'm able to pull something good, but usually i hate what i write. so i didn't write lyrics for the stanzas. it's my style to just make a chorus and be happy with it, especially if it's for me. maybe one day i'll see about putting in some words for the rest but other than that, i'm done with 'em.

of course, being a char theme they're meant to fit him... and they do. he's clinically insane [species trait known as Alpha Shift, extreme multiple personality disorder, currently under control] and through marriage, is emperor of Tel'Rune. maybe i'll put up a pic of him here sometime, though he's already in my DA gallery.

for the Raiders: it was when TRIumph attacked his home that the Lunar Howl was built by Deus Ex Majica.
