I've had a lot more experience with ponies now.

I always thought that short tail suits male ponies better...looks cute...and fun-able.

Long tails just look too girly on males (I don't know what the proper horse term is...)

I thought there were a couple different terms for male based various factors. I just really don't understand horse stuff... especially how to draw them...

Well, the young one's are addressed as colts, and the not-at-adult-age are foals...But I don't know my horse stuff as well, just red a few really good Fanfiction, and the writers are knowing their stuff. They are a far superior storytellers, then I am at the current moment. I try to improve every day, but English is not my native language (although I learned it on my own just by watching subbed Sesame Street episodes, and listening to hit records of the 80's =XD), so it's a bit harder to me.
