I can't remember the details of the conversation, but I recall joking about how a depressed Dipper would probably drown his sorrows in milk and cookies instead of alcohol, since he's a little boy. Dipper thought the mental image was amusing and asked me to draw it, so here it is! I don't know why Dipper is sad, but he needs stronger milk! Ditch that 2% stuff and go for whole milk, kid!

Gen, I can't BEGIN to tell you how much I like this. I mean, the expression: the eyes...the pout...

And the incredible effect of seeing through the glass. I would never have thought of that.

The deeper shading to match the deeper mood. And the use of the blue background, to express his mood.

This is simply wonderful.
