This is Hudson's mother, an Akita Inu and a scholar (I think, at least, haven't settled on a profession for her as it's not easy to research that kind of thing). She's a small woman who acts demure and doe-like, but has a fierce temper and can be rather argumentative, which is probably part of the reason Hudson's father fell for her.

She hasn't got a name yet, have anyone got any suggestions?

I dunno, probably not gonna do much with her, just wanted to give myself an idea of what kind of person she was, to help with Hudson's character. I like how she came out, though and therefore wanted to play around with my markers again, because I love the techniques you can use and I don't get as frustrated as on the computer. The background was born of a love for autumn and sheer laziness.
