Even if Diablo 3 was not up to a lot of people's expectations, I must admit that it's still a really fun game specially when you play with friends.
Good memories, so much fun, and plenty of things we learnt from this experience... like:
-Standing in the fire is fun.
-The poison is yummy.
-Ponies are such a dick.
-I'd hit Diablo.
And yes, I'm posting this the same day Torchlight 2 comes out ;D

For me it was kinda meh, I did not HATE it, the story was good, but it was like it is over too soon. I hope that they will do a expansion pack like they did for Diablo 2, or perhaps a free quest like the UBER quest in D2. that and the ability to go back to past areas and GRIND to build up exp
They recently added a 'paragon' system that opens up 100(!!) new levels once you reach lvl 60. Each paragon lvl gets you the base stat increase you would normally get, plus 3% extra gold&magic item find. Also, you can go back to any past area you like, you simply have to change the quest you are doing in the character selection screen.
I personally had no doubts that D3 would not be as refined as D2. I also think that comparisons between D2 and D3 are unfair at the moment, because when people compare the two, they are not actually comparing Diablo 2. Rather, they are comparing Diablo 2 + Lord of Destruction + Patch 1.11. Diablo 2 as it was at its release was completely different from the masterpiece that it eventually became. I have the same hopes for Diablo 3.
