Sketch Commission - May the Rain Erase Me
Rough sketch plus commission for 
Fenzsche - I've gotta admit, it was pretty therapeutic and I enjoyed making it. I was worried about doing an urban environment, but he didn't need a detailed, in-focus one, so I went for blurry and obscure ;P I like it :)
~1.5 hrs Adobe Photoshop CS5.

This angle, combined with the surroundings and the lighting make for a very emotional picture. Rain feels amazing in situations like this, which kinda makes me miss home--where I could feel the rain on my torso without feeling too shameful about it.
But I digress, what got me most is the angle. The way you hold things in perspective so well amazes me ^^

Yeah, the second I had the image described to me, this is almost exactly what I pictured in my head - one of those rare times a drawing comes out just like I had imagined it.

Thank you very much! I'm actually pretty, hmm... lucky? I mostly bluff my way through perspective pieces :b I still struggle with it a lot, so this was good practice.

I used to, all the time. I love summer storms! Spring, if it's warm enough. It's just my ability to go outside has been hampered by a disability (lymphedeama) so my fursona has to do a bit of vicarious living for me. I want to some day be able to draw rain falling on characters like you do. This is so delightful to look at.
